Method

  1. Heat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment. Stir the melted butter with the garlic and Italian seasoning.

  2. Unroll the dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Brush each with garlic butter and sprinkle with most of the Parmesan.

  3. Roll each triangle up from the wide end and set point side down on the sheet.

  4. Brush the tops with the rest of the garlic butter and sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan.

  5. Bake until puffed and deep golden, then scatter with parsley and serve warm.

Tips

  • Grate the garlic finely so it melts into the butter and does not burn on top.
  • Tuck a small piece of mozzarella into each roll before rolling for cheesy pull-apart rolls.
  • Bake on the middle rack: the bottoms catch fast on a low shelf.
