The recipe in 15 seconds

Method

  1. Separate the biscuits and cut a 1-inch hole from the center of each with a small round cutter or bottle cap. Keep the holes. Mix the sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl.

  2. Mist the basket with cooking spray. Add 4 donuts and half the holes in a single layer with space between them to puff.

  3. Air fry at 360°F for 5 to 6 minutes, flipping halfway, until puffed and golden brown on both sides. Repeat with the rest.

  4. While each batch is warm, brush with melted butter and roll in the cinnamon sugar to coat. Serve warm.

Tips

  • Air fryers vary: oven-style models and smaller baskets may need 1 to 2 minutes more. Check early the first time.
  • Swap the cinnamon sugar for a glaze of 1 cup powdered sugar whisked with 2 tbsp milk.
  • Best eaten the same day. Warm leftovers at 320°F for 1 to 2 minutes.
